Well, I put four meatballs each and a lot of sauce into four carryout containers for people who wanted to take extras home, so it made me very happy (whether they tossed them into the weeds on the side of the road on their way home is another thing)...
I got to use my combination garage, photostudio, party center -- thankfully, because there is no way to seat 15 people in our dining room... so my collection of banquet tables and folding chairs paid off. Following the meal we welcomed our own Diesel Dave back home from active duty with a toast and cake! Now he can get back to work on our engines (if he isn't called up again)
Following that we held a meeting that lasted well past midnight.
