Get your 2009 USSVI calendar featuring museum subs!
« on: July 25, 2008, 09:56:07 AM »

This is a great calendar for a great cause!  Order one (or more) soon!  They will be on sale at the 2008 USSVI National Convention in September.  You can also pre-order beginning August 1st with your check mailed to Huey.  They go quickly, I learned the hard way.

As you can see from the above graphic, they are $11.95 plus $2.00 shipping (that's $13.95) with your check being made out to "USSVI" and mailed to:

Huey Hahn
USSVI National Storekeeper
P.O. Box 122
Husser, LA  70442-0122

It also says you can contact Huey about quantity discounts.  His email address and telephone number are listed in the graphic.

I wanted to add that the calendars are available for ORDERING, but from what I've been told the order filling won't even begin until at least after the USSVI National Convention in September.

I was putting this out there for everyone that may not know about the calendar so that you'd have plenty of notice.  I'm not saying to write you check and mail it today, but you don't want to wait until November to try to get one.

In other words, order when you feel comfortable with it, but know that the "processing" time may be lengthy.  :)

All the US Submarines on display appear in the calendar.  Twelve are the 'calendar girls', chosen for the quality and size of the photo available.  The remaining boats are displayed in smaller pix.  Also featured will be a map showing locations and a supplemental page showing Floats from some of the bases.

Which boats are featured?  Pampanito is on the cover.  For the rest, you'll just have to wait and see...  ::)

The calendars will be available at the USSVI convention, and for pre-order through Huey Hahn starting Aug 1st.

Well, I can tell you that you guys have done something really great this year.  I can't fathom the amount of work that had to go into this calendar.  Thanks to you both!

The batfish had better be there......    :knuppel2:

We sent them a reall nice pic of the old girl getting snowed on.   That will be perfect for one of the wintere months.   Anywho....

I just receive an email form one of my vets here that they are available now.   I would like to see about purchasing a small quantity for the museum here.  I encourage the other boats to do the same.  We have sold the USSVI of WWII for years and they have always done good for us.

I don't have an answer for either of those questions.

This is just to let everyone know that the calendars should be widely available for purchase right now.  If you are a member of a USSVI Base, your storekeeper likely has them for purchase.  If you are not a member of USSVI, you can order them directly from Huey Hahn!

These calendars would make great Christmas gifts to anyone interested in submarines.  Don't miss out!

REMEMBER!  Send $11.95 PLUS $2.00 for shipping to:

Huey Hahn
P.O. Box 122
Husser, LA  70442-0122

Make your check out to "USSVI" and make sure you note that you are ordering a calendar as Huey sells all kinds of things for USSVI.  If you need to email him, check the graphic above for his email address.
