The reunion was great, just a small turnout though. We had 7 crewmen and family members from 4 crewmen on eternal patrol. We all had a great time on board swaping sea stories and talking to the visitors. The visitor appreciation was excellant and more so than in the past. For the ceromony we got sailors from the USS Makin Island LHD-8 to stand in formation behind the podium and then act as side boys/women for the flowers to the water. There wasn't a dry eye in the place. We learned alot more about the boat and the crew.
