Galley Garbage Pails and Pots
« on: April 07, 2012, 05:09:08 PM »
Folks,

Do any of you have original garbage pails, rinse pot, or cooking pots from the galley of your sub?  We would love to find photos, or measurements, or drawings of the triple bread pans, rectangular baking pan, rectangular kettle, and square kettles that were custom built to fit the Edison Type B Range.  Any original galley photos from WW II that might have these in the image would help as well.

Dish drying rack

What about the dish drying rack?  Do any of the boats still have an original?  Or the baskets to store the dishes, etc. in the crew's mess bench seats?

I have updated our research questions page with more galley information/questions:
