It's supposed to be 68 and sunny, but that will probably be at 4 p.m.

Wish I could be there, I am just itching to get back to work on the Forward escape hatch.  :)

I need people to lay deck down.  even if there is only 2 or 3 this will help out.

I will be available after we finish on the 40mm.

Vaughn is going to start looking at the supports for the bridge deck tomorrow.

I guess I will be there at heart with you guys, as I will go to work on the U.S.S. Grayling memorial (cleaning graffiti off etc.) out here to get ready for the memorial service on May 17th.

Go out to http://rockymountainsubvets.com/html/events.html for info on the memorial.

Also Mark Allen has a point mention how great all us volunteers are!!  ;)
We all want our shot of fame as well.

Well, the turnout was less than hoped for, but we did have a few come out.  Was sunny and windy, but turned out to be a nice afternoon.  Got a few things done such as painted the underside of the aft cigarette deck, got the flags hung, Vaughn started on the bridge deck supports, Chris (?) and Brandt started pulling the deck way up forward, got a little of the 40mm worked on.  We appreciate the Batfish Foundation for buying lunch and I appreciate all that came out and helped.

I'll try to post a photo or two later.

Mark

Well, at least you got some things accomplished. That is better than nothing. I could not make it out to the Sub memorial out here to clean it up, because I got tied up volunteering at another  place for my moms work. Im kinda mad.

I know how you feel, Travis. But helping out a parent, even when you don't feel like it, shows true character. Your parents are lucky to have you. And it will come back to you in many ways. You'll get more time at the Batfish.

My reply for everyone.  Great job,  I get all Giddy inside every time I look over and see the 40 mm pointed straighte up.    ;D

The colors really brighten up the boat.  She looks better this year then last year.  The grounds are even looking better....

May through July are such busy months it seems.  Every weekend has something scheduled on the calendar.  It's good to hear you had some folks show up to work.

I'll be there next year.  We got rid of a bunch of stuff at the Jenks community yard sale and we have some more to ditch at Goodwill.  I don't think there will be much left for next year's sale.
