Amazing what you can find when you poke around in the background of photos ... I was looking over some un-posted copies of Navy photos seeing what I could see and trying to figure out what I could tell about the picture when this vessel pops out at me. Who is that? Can I find out by doing some quick checking of build dates?

I came up with a picture of the USS Triton SS 201 sitting at the docks in Portsmouth, Shipyard on May 15, 1940 after her March 25, 1940 launching.
