Rigged Out Bow Planes
« on: August 18, 2010, 03:53:20 PM »
One of our BLHA crewmembers was concerned about the bow planes being rigged out with the boat being out of the water.  Should there be any concern?

No, ours have ben out for ten years now. The reason they were riigged in on the surface to prevent wave slap damage. You will be alright as long as you don't get another flood with 8 foot waves.

Well, you also have to worry about the 5-inch diam. scrapped paint on the bottom of the port bow plane (on COD)... the hull paint crew has been lookin for us bow plane riggin pirates for two weeks now... we're running out of hiding places!   :knuppe      :-\l2:
