A college boy from jersey
« on: March 10, 2010, 01:18:25 AM »
Hi yall my name is joe and ive been volunteering at the New Jersey Naval Museum for about 2 years now.  Haven't been able to get there since winter break though, since ive been stuck in this Binghamton snow for the last few months.  The USS Ling is an amazing sub, but as some of my fellow volunteers put it, we're the best kept secret in New Jersey

Nice scope shot!

It's been a while since I've been aboard Ling. Maybe a group of us from Torsk should take a road trip up there and visit. That last one was over 10 years ago!

Thanks for the updates on Ling as well. Its good to see someone from her posting here.

Well this summer would be a great time to come on down!  In the last year we've repainted most of the outer hull and some of the interior, so everything looks really sharp.  I just hope nothing got damaged by that big storm over the weekend

Will do - need some road trips for the new convertible this summer - nothing says road trip like a submarine! :smitten:
