Who wants a tour of USS COD?
« on: April 13, 2008, 03:53:04 AM »
Cleveland is still waiting for spring weather, but here is the next best thing. A virtual tour of COD on Saturday, April 13, 2008.

Let me know what you think about a 1945 ironing board in the forward torpedo room...

Very nice, Paul.  It definitely looks like it's being lived in.  Batfish needs to get a bunch of white towels, undergarments, clothes, etc, and spread them out/hang them up of over the berthing areas, too.  We are sorely lacking the lower bunks in the torpedo rooms and the bags that hang off the rails.

I agree, when things like clothes and towels etc. are there it makes it feel more realistic like you actually are there when it was happening.
