Coffee Urns
« on: September 08, 2012, 11:00:50 AM »
A tale of coffee urns. USS Pampanito has been restoring her galley this summer (http://maritime.org/pres/potrack/). We currently have a very nice coffee urn that came off a minesweeper. However, it is smaller than would have been aboard.
We also have a really nice coffee urn that is bigger than we should have. And we have a steam urn. So, we are still looking for the correct size urn visible at http://www.maritime.org/wish/coffee.htm. Do any of you have any WW II or early 1950s urns that you might want to trade or donate?

If we had one, we'd have it installed.  I think Rick found the plans for one, though, and it's been discussed to have one remanufactured.
